The ‘Hannibal Rising’ actor, who was set to star in Marvel’s new Disney+ series ‘Moon Knight,’ died in a car accident in the Savoie region of the Alps on Tuesday at the age of 37. (18.01.22).
The actor from ‘Saint Laurent’ was initially said to be in «severe condition with a head injury,» but his representative later announced that Gaspard had died.
The disaster is being investigated, and the local mountain police department claimed that as the snow has consolidated, they have been organizing five or six rescues each day over the last two weeks.
Gaspard, who will play Anton Mogart/ Midnight Man in ‘Moon Knight,’ was the male face of Bleu de Chanel and was well-known in his home France for his work.
He was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actor in 2002 for his parts in ‘Summer Things’ and ‘Strayed’ the following year, and he won the award in 2004 for his performance in ‘A Very Long Engagement’ opposite Marion Cotillard, Audrey Tatou, and Jodie Foster.
The actor was married to Galle Piétri, a model and singer with whom he had a daughter, who will turn six next month.
