Aaron Rodgers trade rumors: The Packers quarterback is allegedly interested in joining the Titans and has purchased land near Nashville.
From the frozen tundra to Tennessee?
Aaron Rodgers’ future in Green Bay remains murky at the moment, but if he is traded, then you can pencil in the Titans as a potential landing spot.
A recent report from 102.5 The Game’s Jared Stillman, which is an ESPN radio affiliate in Nashville, says that Rodgers is currently building a home in a Nashville, Tenn. suburb, but more pertinently, is supposedly «open» to joining Mike Vrabel’s squad in 2022.

Stillman adds that, according to insiders, Rodgers’ Packers teammates believe there is «no way» he will return for another season in Green Bay.
The fact that Rodgers is now selling his California house adds to the mystery, as the West Coast might be ruled out as a landing site. The alleged land purchase could possibly be just coincidental—Nashville is a major tourist destination and, according to Zillow, the sixth-hottest home market in the US.
Aside from one costly stumbling block, the move makes sense: current quarterback Ryan Tannehill is under contract through 2022 and is due $29 million in guaranteed money.
That won’t be easy to clear, and a straight one-for-one trade between the Packers and the Titans is also difficult to envisage.
For now, however, Tennessee supporters may rejoice at the prospect of Rodgers throwing to Julio Jones and AJ Brown.
