In her first interview since Bob Saget’s death, Kelly Rizzo refers to him as the «Best Man.»
Kelly Rizzo has given an emotional interview about her late husband, Bob Saget, following his death.
In her first interview since her late husband, comedian, and actor Bob Saget died on January 9, Kelly Rizzo pays tribute to him in the best way possible. Kelly reminisced some of the nicest moments she shared with her «kind and loving» late husband during an interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today show, which will air in its entirety on Thursday, Jan. 20.
«What was Bob Saget like when there was no audience at dinner?» What was that guy like when there was no one around to make him laugh?» Hoda inquired of the foodie. «It was the same as before. He was only there to have fun. And all he wanted to do was make people happy,» Kelly explained.
«I mean, if we went to a restaurant, he’d talk to every single waiter and server.» He was familiar with all of the hosts. He was well-known and well-liked by all. «And his constant message was ‘just treat everyone with compassion,’ because he had been through so much in his life and knew how difficult life could be,» she went on to say.

«He was always very kind and caring to everyone,» she continued. He was simply the most amazing dude I’d ever met. He was simply wonderful and caring, and everyone who came into contact with him recognized it. ‘Wow, he is a special guy,’ said everybody who met him casually.»
Bob’s body was discovered in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, the day after he performed a comedy event in Jacksonville, Florida. Kelly, who met Bob in 2015 and married him in 2018, reportedly called the hotel on Jan. 9 after she didn’t hear from him.
Kelly shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram following the death of her late love. «Bob was a force to be reckoned with. «I’m sure every one of you out there, whether you knew him or not, was in awe of the immense outpouring of love and appreciation for this unique man,» she wrote in the post, alluding to the outpouring of love from friends, fans, and former co-stars in the aftermath of the devastating news.
«No one has ever seen anything like it.» I am grateful for everyone’s warmth and support, both family and strangers. Everyone adores Bob and is concerned about my well-being. And I’ll be eternally grateful for that.»
