In a behind-the-scenes video from the set of ‘Guardians,’ Zoe Saldana explains how difficult it is to remove Gamora’s makeup.

Seeing the color green! In new behind-the-scenes footage from the set of the forthcoming ‘Guardians’ film, Zoe Saldana, 40, revealed how difficult it was to get into character as the green-skinned Gamora.

Beauty is said to be suffering, but for Zoe Saldana on the set of the forthcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film, patience is key. Getting into character for the 43-year-old actress, who plays the green-skinned warrior Gamora, is a difficult process, and getting out of it is even slower. Zöe provided a frank clip of her method for removing layers upon layers of green makeup in a new behind-the-scenes video from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy 3.

The actress humorously compared herself to the viral video of a rat washing like a human, posting the film alongside a video of her meticulously removing the green makeup. Rosario Dawson, 42, responded on the video with a sequence of raised-hands emojis, while Uzo Aduba, 40, wrote «I can’t!» alongside three laughing-crying emojis.

Zöe has released photographs from the set in full costume, including a gorgeous selfie on January 19th in which she remarked, «Gamora felt cute!» #nofilter.” She lamented her «3:30 am call time» in another post, posting a video of herself in a robe, her skin completely green, and drinking what appeared to be a protein smoothie.

In addition to her leading part in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Zoe has a busy 2022 ahead of her. The long-awaited sequel to James Cameron’s Avatar has a release date of December 16th, 2022, and Zoe will reprise her role as the lovely Navi heroine Neytiri opposite Sam Worthington. In addition to Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, Jermaine Clement, and even Vin Diesel, the sequel will feature a slew of well-known newcomers.

Despite her hectic filming schedule, Zoe has managed to maintain her relationship with her husband Marco Peregro, 42. Zoe was photographed in a Baywatch-style red swimsuit while posing gracefully in a pool during the couple’s tropical holiday in October.

In September, the pair were photographed together for the first time at the Venice Film Festival, where Zoe wore a plunging, sequined red gown by Dolce & Gabanna and looked glamorous, confident, and happy.
