On ‘SNL,’ ‘Joe Biden’ blames Omicron for the new ‘Spider-Man’ film and escapes to the multiverse.
To curb the spread of the Omicron strain of COVID-19, James Austin Johnson’s Joe Biden advised Americans to «stop seeing Spider-Man.»
During the cold open on Saturday Night Live, James Austin Johnson’s Joe Biden had one goal: to halt the spread of Omicron by not watching Spider-Man: No Way Home. Johnson’s Biden was certain that the smash film, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, was to blame for the virus’s widespread spread.
On the January 15 program, he added, «Think about it.» «Can you tell me when Spider-Man was released? The 17th of December. When did everyone obtain their Omicron? The week following the 17th of December. «Stop looking at Spider-Man,» he advised.

In mid-December, the variation was fast-spreading, so Johnson’s Biden may have had a point. In reality, COVID had a big impact on SNL in the final episode of 2021, causing the show to cancel its live sketches and audience participation (Tom Hanks was a last minute addition to the Paul Rudd hosted episode, alongside Tina Fey who filled in for Colin Jost).
Following that, Johnson’s Biden offered some additional advice to reporters and Americans. «Look around for anything else,» he added. «I watched the first half-hour of Gucci House. «That’s more than enough movie for anyone,» she said, referring to the film starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver.

A reporter then speculated that there might be another Biden in the «multiverse» who «wants people» to see the film. A multi-verse idea exists in the MCU, which is how past Spider-Man actors like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were able to appear alongside Tom Holland in the most recent film.
«At long last, a decent question!» Joe, a Johnson employee, explained. It turns out that the thought had occurred to him. «I’ve given this a lot of thought.» I talked to Dr. Fauci and Dr. Strange [both played by Benedict Cumberbatch in the movies]. There are at least three Joe Bidens, as far as I can tell. He went on to say, «One of them is me.»
«One of them is former Vice President Joe Biden, who was defeated by [former President Donald] Trump. T-birds, Tacos, and Trains is a CNBC show hosted by Biden. Then there’s a third Joe Biden, who is widely considered to be the greatest president in history.
«My approval ratings are sky-high, I’m genuinely backed by my own party, and I know what the program Euphoria is about,» he continued. One of the Joes turned out to be Pete Davidson, a visitor from the «actual reality» who had a message for Johnson: his universe was about to be destroyed!
«Everyone on Earth saves one individual named Pete Davidson is better off in the real world,» Pete’s Joe suggested, wearing futuristic specs and a blazer with nothing underneath. «Perhaps this world is more enjoyable for him,» Pete remarked.
