Travis Scott appeared to have forgotten someone during his MTV VMAs performance. Stormi was showered with love by the ‘Franchise’ rapper, but not by her pregnant mother, Kylie Jenner!

On Sunday, the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards presented several surprises after a year of social alienation and virtual performances (Sept. 12). Machine Gun Kelly and Conor McGregor almost fought, and Travis Scott forgot.

Justin Bieber flew, Lil Nas X stripped, Machine Gun Kelly and Conor McGregor almost fought, and Travis Scott forgot. Travis, 30, won the Best Hip-Hop Video Music Award for his song “Franchise,” which he co-wrote with Young Thug and M.I.A.

Travis went over a list of individuals to thank after receiving the Moonperson award. Before thanking his label and showing love to the audience, he stated, “First, I want to thank God, my mom, Stormi [Webster].” Travis seems to have missed Kylie Jenner, the woman who is currently pregnant with their second kid. Fans mocked the exclusion on social media.

The 2021 MTV VMAs were going to be one for the record books, regardless of who won a Moonperson. The 2021 event took held inside the Barclays Center, following the 2020 show, which had socially-distanced performances throughout New York City’s five boroughs with numerous of facemasks. Justin Bieber made his comeback after a six-year hiatus during the concert.

At the 2015 event, he sang “What Do You Mean?” and “Where Are U Now,” before eventually breaking down in years because to how “overwhelming” it was. The Foo Fighters will also perform at the festival in 2021. The trio has not performed at a VMAs since 2007, when they earned the Global Icon Award.

In addition to Bieber and the Foo Fighters, the night’s lineup included Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Machine Gun Kelly with Travis Barker, Olivia Rodrigo, Polo G, Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Camila Cabello, and Kacey Musgraves, among others. Lorde was supposed to perform, but the concert stated on Sept. 3 that she couldn’t make it due to “a change in production components,” according to the New York Post.

Lorde claimed that she and her crew were “planning this outrageously fantastic many-bodied intimate dance performance, not fully knowing the (very important!) safety standards in place.” I won’t be able to give you anything less than the best.”

According to the New York Post, Nicki Minaj was also supposed to appear during the performance. Nicki revealed that she “dropped out” of the show after one of her Barbz asked if she was going to perform. “I’ll tell you why another time. “However, I adore those MTV guys,” she remarked in a now-deleted tweet. She expressed gratitude to the fan for the questions. “I adore you to the moon and back. We’ll be there next year, baby.”
