The ‘RHONY’ Season 13 reunion has been canceled, according to Bravo, which confirmed the cancellation to HollywoodLife.
The Real Housewives of New York City reunion for this season has been canceled by Bravo.
“Because of scheduling issues with shooting the ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ reunion in a timely manner, Bravo has confirmed that there will be no reunion for this season.
It’s regrettable that we weren’t able to reunite the cast, but we’re pleased to have ended on such a high note with the finale, and we’re now turning our attention to next season,” the network said in a statement to HollywoodLife on Sept. 17.
According to Page Six, series actresses Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Eboni K. Williams, and Leah McSweeney “reluctantly understood” the news when told. The source stated, “It would just be so long since the finale.” “Having a reunion two months later makes no sense, so they understand that part, but they are disappointed.”
The girls were supposed to tape the Season 13 reunion on Aug. 5, but Page Six writes that they were later “told that the taping is on hold until at least September amid a dip in ratings.”
Long-time fans of the show didn’t like the show’s 13th season, and it showed. The series’ lowest-rated episode, from July 2021, drew only 764,000 live viewers, making it the series’ lowest-rated episode ever.
It’s unclear who will return for Season 14 at this time. However, given that the show’s ratings have dropped this season and the reunion has been canceled, we’d hazard to assume that some retooling is in the works.
