Rebel Wilson wore a blazer-style short dress with her hair pulled up in a gorgeous up-do to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures launch party.
Rebel Wilson knows how to wear a tiny dress to perfection! The 41-year-old Australian actress was spotted at the star-studded premiere celebration for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ launch.
She was one of a bevy of A-listers that walked the red carpet in Los Angeles for the lavish event, and she looked stunning in a glittery gown. Rebel chose a black blazer-style gown with reflective sequins as her dress.
Her platinum blonde locks were left out to accentuate her face as she pulled her hair back into a high bun. On the accessory department, the Pitch Perfect alum kept it simple with sheer black tights and matching black shoes. The museum is scheduled to open in 2017 and is expected to cost $484 million to build. Inside, there are four stories of exhibition space and two theaters.
The Rosebud sled from Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane, Star Wars droids C-3P0 and R2-D2, the Mount Rushmore backdrop from Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic film North By Northwest, a true to life shark model from Jaws, and, of course, Dorothy’s red slippers from The Wizard of Oz are among the artifacts on display. According to the Associated Press, the museum is “dedicated to commemorating and advancing the work of cinema artists, scholars, and professions through our exhibitions, screenings, events, collections, and now, through our annual gala.”
It’s no surprise, then, that renowned Hollywood stars such as Rebel attended the grand opening! Rebel can usually be found training with trainer Gunnar Peterson, who assisted her on her amazing weight loss journey, when she isn’t on the red carpet.
She already revealed how she accomplished her aim. “I suppose it was different this time because I approached it from all angles… The emotional side, which I suffered from, I believe, as conventional emotional eating… so I really focused on that side,” Rebel revealed in February 2021.
The star of How To Be Single has been a proponent of mixing wellness and exercise, and she’s shared her number one piece of advice for people who want to follow in her footsteps. “The most important thing is to simply stroll… During my year of health, I had all of these high-tech tests performed on me. They told me that walking was the greatest approach for me to shed excess body fat,” Rebel, who is also a Los Angeles hiker, explained.
