B75 Table Tennis Club in the Danish Super League has signed the young Indian paddler. B75 Table Tennis Club has signed Mudit Dani to a season-long contract.
In the men’s singles rankings, Mudit Dani is ranked sixth in India.
Mudit Dani, on the other hand, is not a first-time visitor to Europe. The Indian paddler has competed in German and French leagues, albeit in lesser divisions. Mudit Dani, on the other hand, will be making his debut appearance in a top-flight European league.
Mudit Dani, 22, expressed his excitement at the thought of playing in Europe’s top flight and expressed his desire to improve as a player. He stated:
“I’m quite excited because this is my first time playing in a European country’s top league. I’d want to express my gratitude to B75 Table Tennis Club for believing in me. Players who have played in leagues have always performed better at the international level.”
Mudit Dani second Indian after Sharath Kamal in Danish League
This isn’t the first time Indian paddlers have competed in Europe’s top class leagues. While India’s G Sathiyan is dominating the Polish League, Achanta Sharath Kamal has previously competed in the Danish League. Anthony Amalraj, an Indian international, has also played in European leagues.
The Danish Super League will include some of the best international paddlers from around the world in the 2018 season. Mudit Dani will be buoyed by the prospect of rubbing shoulders with 2004 Athens Olympic medalist and former World No. 8 Michael Maze of Denmark.
“Due to the pandemic, there weren’t many tournaments last year, and now that the international circuit is gradually resuming, I’m hoping to acquire some much-needed match preparation while participating here. This league boasts some of the best players in the world, and I’m looking forward to a successful season with the team.”
Mudit Dani made his senior debut in 2018 after making waves on the junior circuit, winning his first-ever medal on the senior circuit at the US Open in 2019.
The World Table Tennis Contender in Doha and the Budapest Open are among his latest tournaments.
