Nicki Minaj Teases New Music With Brandy, Tamar Braxton…

Nicki Minaj teased new songs with Brandy, Tamar Braxton, and Keke Wyatt ahead of the weekend, and it’s not a drill.

Fans are ecstatic when Nicki Minaj previewed new songs with an all-star trio. On Friday, Sept. 10, the rapper, 38, revealed a clip of a new single on Twitter, which included sounds of Brandy, Tamar Braxton, and Keke Wyatt harmonizing from her studio.

Her followers were ecstatic, with many describing her singing as “heavenly” and “angelic.” One Twitter follower even said the snippet should be played at their funeral. The teasing comes just days after the “Super Bass” rapper tweeted to her fans that she wanted female musicians to help her out.

Barbz: ask Keke, Tamar & Brandy to redo this. That’s what I sound like in my head. Would love to hear ppl who can rlly do it 😟🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

As shown in her tweet here, she also attempted to invite Kehlani, Jhené Aiko, and Summer Walker for the new mystery collaboration via Twitter. In a separate tweet, she added that she wanted to put together an acapella with her coworkers so that she could create something “unique.”

Once I have the a capella vocals I’ll put Smthn special together with it 🙏🎀

Later, she stated that she intended to do something similar with female rappers. “Idk what R&B challenge/collab type situation Nicki is conjuring up but I’m here for all of it,” one Twitter user said.

I’m gonna do smthn similar with female rappers. But that’s for a diff night 🤣

Last year, the rapper announced the release of a new album. Last year, Nicki also disclosed that she collaborated with HBO Max on a docuseries on her life and business. “It’s going to give you guys a raw, unedited peek at my personal life and my professional path, and I can’t wait to share it with you,” Nicki said in an Instagram video in November 2020.

She captioned the photo, “I couldn’t be more delighted to have #HBOMAX on board to help me share my narrative in this delicate and memorable way.” “In a way that my admirers will adore for the rest of their lives. This document is on another level. I can assure you of that.” The docuseries, directed by Michael John Warren, does not yet have a premiere date, but it will consist of six episodes.

“I love that this series not only gives us an inside look at one of our generation’s most iconic performers but also features Onika, the strong woman behind the artist,” Michael stated in a press release at the time. “I believe we can all learn a lot from her extraordinary career and personal life. It’s a privilege to be entrusted with such an exciting story.”

It’s a fantastic moment to be a Nicki Minaj fan, with new music and a docuseries on the way.
