Never rule out the possibility! Despite having seven children with four different women, the ‘Masked Singer’ star indicated in a recent interview that he is open to having more children in the future.
Nick Cannon, 40, is the father of seven beautiful children, and if he is meant to have more, he will. On September 8, during an unexpected interview with TMZ, the Wild ‘n Out singer said that if it’s in the cards, he’ll have more children.
He told the publication, “God willing,” that his “aura” and “essence” are the reasons he’s so fruitful. “If God sees it that way, I’ll keep doing what I’m doing.”
Nick has had to explain his motivation for having so many children with so many different women before, especially after having four children with three separate women in a six-month period.
Nick stood firm on a Monday, August 9 appearance on The Breakfast Club with host Charlamagne Tha God, claiming that having children with one person was an obsolete concept.
“What makes people doubt it? When you think about things like, you’re meant to have this one person for the rest of your life, and really, that’s just to classify property when you think about it, that’s a Euro-centric concept,” he said. “Those ladies, all women, are the ones that open up and say, ‘I’d want to let this man into my life.’ And I’ll give birth to this child,’ he added.
Nick has declared that he does not “subscribe” to the concept of monogamy, despite being married to Mariah Carey, 52, whom he divorced in 2016. “It’s not my choice. I’m going to do the same.” In fact, during a July appearance on his Nick Cannon Radio show with rap group City Girls, the actor stated categorically that he was having children “on purpose.”
The California native is the father of seven children, four of whom were born within a year of each other and with four different women. With ex-wife Mariah, he has twins Moroccan and Monroe, ten, and with Brittany Bell, he has a son Golden, four, and a daughter Powerful, eight months. He gave birth to twins Zion and Zillion with Abbey De La Rosa in June and a son Zen with Alyssa Scott in July.
