Montez Sweat won’t be making the journey to Nashville this week in any case.
According to ESPN, the earlier Mississippi State defensive end won’t be attending the NFL Draft like he initially deliberate.
Instead, he has opted to spend time alongside along with his family in Georgia.
“My devoted grandparents and a host of other family members helped me to get to this point in my life and I wanted to celebrate this special day with my family, so we all chose to do so where it all started for me, Stone Mountain, Georgia,” Sweat knowledgeable ESPN by the use of his agent, Brian Overstreet.
Sweat impressed on the NFL combine remaining month, setting a 40-yard dash report for a defensive lineman by working a 4.41 at 6-5 and 260 kilos.
However, it was revealed he had a pre-existing heart scenario sooner than he was cleared to participate throughout the event. The heart problem reportedly was not acknowledged until the combination and has since affected his draft stock, though medical medical doctors declared it to be low-risk.
“Because of privacy issues we are not allowed to comment specifically. But I will tell you that this is not news,” his agent talked about in an announcement on the time. “Montez is the same person that was medically cleared to play and dominate the SEC, the Senior Bowl, and the NFL combine. No change in health and no change in domination!”
Despite his effectively being points, Sweat is enterprise by many to be a first-round alternative.
The NFL Draft is scheduled to run April 25-27.
