Memories from the movies! Natalia Bryant is opening out about how her late father, Kobe Bryant, influenced her passion in movies nearly two years after his death.
In a YouTube video for IMG Models on Thursday, September 2, the University of Southern California student, 18, stated, “My dad and I would always watch as many movies as we could and we’d go on, like, movie marathons.” “And then we’d see as many movies as we could and talk about it for months. Everywhere we went, we’d speak about different films and how they reminded us of where we were. ‘Oh, my god, that architecture reminds me of this scene from this movie,’ etc.
So, stuff like that just inspired me, and I was like, ‘I want to do this forever.'”
The adolescent went on to say that the late Los Angeles Lakers player was her greatest inspiration.
In January 2020, the Pennsylvania native, along with her 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other victims, died in a helicopter crash.

Since the tragedy, Natalia has memorialized her father on social media several times, including Father’s Day tributes and birthday greetings. The adolescent said on Thursday that she intends to follow in the late athlete’s Oscar-winning footsteps. (In 2018, Kobe received an award for Dear Basketball in the Best Animated Short Film category.)
Natalia said of her 10-year objectives, “I’m not sure for what, or for what Oscar category, but that’s on my list.” “I want to develop a film where I can mix fashion and those fashion components, and I think that combining my two hobbies would be incredible. That’s something I’d like to be able to do.”
Natalia explained why she is so interested in fashion after calling her mother, Vanessa Bryant, her style inspiration.
“I adore how fashion inspires people from all walks of life and from all across the country,” Natalia remarked. “Inspiration may come from anywhere and from everyone, and I believe that is the most wonderful aspect of fashion: you can find it anywhere.”
Vanessa, 39, and she spoke to Vogue in April on their close mother-daughter relationship. Natalia said at the time, “My mother is the toughest person I’ve ever known.” “You’re always around. I’d like to compare you to the sun. You always have a lovely smile on your face. And the sun can always be found someplace. It’s shining someplace, even if you can’t see it.”
