In a new interview with ‘Teen Vogue,’ Kobe Bryant’s daughter discussed what it was like to have her father as an NBA legend.
Natalia Bryant, the oldest daughter of late NBA legend Kobe Bryant, made her debut on the cover of Teen Vogue’s September issue. Natalia spoke about both her objectives and the impact her father and his legacy had on her, in addition to appearing stunning in her images.
On September 8, the model and University of Southern California student’s interview with the fashion magazine was published.
Natalia spoke about how she wanted to pay tribute to her father’s memory after he and her younger sister Gianna were tragically died in a helicopter tragedy in 2020.
She told Teen Vogue, “I love talking about my dad.” “It’s bittersweet, but I find it more enjoyable to talk about him than it is to be sad.” Apart from sharing Kobe experiences, Natalia also mentioned how the family attempts to remember their father and Gigi on a daily basis.
“We’re attempting to preserve that memory for my younger sisters. When asked how the family is doing, she stated near the end of the interview, “And also just trying to remember to live out every day the way they would.”
Natalia discussed how Kobe and Vanessa attempted to make her upbringing “as normal as possible,” as well as her relationship with her father. She shared a touching anecdote about a legend from the Los Angeles Lakers taking her to see Rise of Skywalker in 2019.
“He was like the finest female dad ever,” she said. He was just letting me listen to my music and sing along to Taylor Swift the entire way back, as well as talk about Star Wars. “It was a lot of fun,” she exclaimed.
Natalia talked about two of her passions: volleyball and fashion, in addition to her father. She wanted to be a model ever since she saw a fashion show on TV when she was a little girl. Natalia has signed with IMG Models while she is taking a sabbatical from volleyball.
Despite her mother’s encouragement, Vanessa emphasized education, according to her mother. “It was critical for my mother that I finish high school and complete my education. “It’s really important to finish college,” she added. The article revealed how mature Kobe’s daughter is now as a student and model, and how prepared she is for her own young adulthood.
