After Nicki Minaj disclosed that she had tested positive for COVID-19, the former ‘View’ co-host and ‘Pinkprint’ artist went back and forth.
Nicki Minaj, 38, went on to spread odd falsehoods about the COVID-19 vaccines after she said she wouldn’t be attending the 2021 Met Gala on Monday, September 13 owing to contracting COVID-19. On Tuesday, September 14, after former The View co-host Meghan McCain, 36, humorously tweeted insulting the rapper, Nicki hit back, and the two engaged in one of the year’s most surprising Twitter clashes.
One of the most perplexing of the “Super Bass” rapper’s numerous perplexing tweets was about Nicki’s cousin in Trinidad, who she claimed was vaccinated, and as a result, his reproductive organs and love life were impacted. “His testicles swelled up. “His friend was about to marry, and now the girl has put off the wedding,” she wrote. Meghan shared a statement from Nicki and stated that “enough internet for today.”
She even joked about media tracking down and interviewing Nicki’s cousins in another tweet. Dr. Ashish K. Jha met with the DailyMail columnist before she was vaccinated, and she followed up with a more serious tweet. “Doctors and scientists, not celebrities, should be trusted. “My friend’s uncle died of covid (unvaccinated) last week,” she added. It’s also worth noting that during Meghan’s final days on The View, she frequently recommended that people obtain the COVID-19 vaccine.
You have an enormous platform and have just spread unimaginable vaccine hesitancy to your fans.
Not only is it deeply irresponsible, it is very sad.
I hope you talk to doctors and scientists like @ashishkjha like I did eventually. People are still dying from covid.#TeamCardi https://t.co/JMiJVNpBBA

Meghan’s response apparently did not impress Nicki, and the rapper referenced Meghan’s first tweet. She wrote, “Eat s**t you.” The former View co-host retaliated by criticizing Queen for disseminating false information.
“You have a massive platform, and you’ve just propagated unprecedented vaccination apprehension among your followers. Meghan added, “Not only is it incredibly irresponsible, but it is also very heartbreaking.” She pushed the rapper to meet with professionals to learn more about the COVID immunizations, but she also declared herself a member of “Team Cardi [B].”
Meghan proved that she didn’t seem to allow the rapper get to her after their brief but tense conversation. She sent off one final tweet, joking about how absurd the whole situation was. “On my 2021 bingo card, I didn’t have a renowned rapper loosing her head at me for not being an anti-vaxxer on twitter, but here we are,” she tweeted.
