Luke Bryan adopted his nieces and nephews after a family tragedy in 2014, and he is also the proud father of two children of his own.
Caroline Boyer, Luke Bryan’s undergraduate love, married him in 2006. When they were both students at Georgia Southern University, the two met seven years ago.
Caroline was a freshman when Luke was a senior, and the two met at a pub one night. Despite the fact that they eventually broke up, they reconnected five years later when Luke was performing in their college town and Caroline was also present.
Following their December 2006 wedding, Luke and Caroline went on to have two children together. Thomas Boyer “Bo” Bryan is their oldest son, and Tatum “Tate” Christopher Bryan is their youngest. Following the loss of both of their parents in 2014, Luke and Caroline began caring for a nephew and two nieces in addition to their two biological children. Bo & Tatum Bryan
Tatum Bryan was born on August 11, 2010, making him 11 years old in 2021. Bo Bryan was born on March 18, 2008, making him 13 years old in 2021. Caroline posts plenty of at-home images and videos to depict what life is like in the Bryan household on their Instagram pages, and both boys are frequently featured on their parents’ accounts.
Bo and Tatum appear to have inherited their parents’ wacky dispositions, and they, like their famous father, seem to enjoy fishing as a hobby. Bo and Tatum have also made appearances at Luke Bryan’s gigs over the years.
In July 2021, Luke told People, “I’m undoubtedly in the golden years [with the lads].” “I mean, right now is the sweet spot of being a dad, and you can let them tag along.” “Their personalities are really different,” he remarked. They turn into your friends. I mean, they’re still your kids, and you still have to discipline them and teach them the ins and outs of life, but they’ve turned into your friends.”
Luke has three nieces and nephews through his sister, Kelly. Kelly passed away unexpectedly in 2007 at the age of 39 from an undisclosed cause. Ben Lee Cheshire, her husband, died seven years later in 2014, leaving the three children without both parents. Tilden “Til” Cheshire, the family’s youngest child, was just 12 years old at the time, and Luke and Caroline adopted him.
During an interview with ABC News in 2017, Caroline stated, “We never thought twice about it.” “You know, it was never something he and I had to sit down and discuss.” ‘Should we go for it?’ That was precisely what we did.” Taking in a 12-year-old was obviously a big change for Caroline and Luke, who had to start raising a teenager on the spur of the moment.
When their family’s life was turned upside down, Til became a big brother figure to Bo and Tate, who were six and four years old at the time. He has an exceptionally close relationship with both of the boys, who plainly adore dad. In commemoration of Tate’s 11th birthday in August 2021, Til commented on Instagram, “Can’t believe my little buddy is 11 today.” “Wishing you a very happy birthday, Tater Tot!” “I adore you, buddy.”
Til left Nashville in 2020 to attend the University of Georgia. Caroline used Instagram to reflect on her oldest son’s departure from the family. She tweeted, beside a photo of herself and Til cuddling, “Left a large piece of my heart today in Georgia.” “I’ve been looking forward to this day for years, but I think it’s finally time for Til to fly. I’m still having trouble with it! My lovely kid, best of luck in college.”
Til and his girlfriend, Chloe, have been dating since July 2020. He shared his first shot with her in October of that year, and she has since appeared in several of his Instagram photos. He also acknowledged their one-year anniversary on social media in July 2021. “One year with this stunning lady!” he exclaimed. “Thank goodness you haven’t killed me yet.” “I adore you.”
Til, like his younger brothers, enjoys fishing as a pastime. In high school, he was also a member of the football and baseball teams. While reminiscing over his athletic career in April 2020, he said, “Sometimes things come to an end too soon, and this is one of them.”
“I simply want to express my gratitude to football and baseball for providing me with so many lifelong memories! Thank you to all of my brothers who have gone out onto the field and supported me throughout.”
Jordan & Kris Cheshire
Jordan Cheshire was born on April 7, 1995, and Kris Cheshire was born on August 3, 1998. Luke and Caroline never formally adopted the girls because they were in their late teens and about to start college when their father died. They did, however, adopt them as their own following the unimaginable event.
Jordan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. Clint Eudy, her now-husband, and she have been together for a long time and announced their engagement in December 2020. On September 5, 2021, the two married. Luke escorted Jordan down the aisle and performed an unique dance for her. Jordan’s Instagram feed shows that she enjoys spending time with friends, going to the beach, and going on vacation.
Kris, on the other hand, earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama. Kris, like her older sister, is in a long-term relationship with her partner, Cam Davis. Kris frequently shares images from trips to the beach, parties and events with friends, and weddings.
Jordan and Kris announced in June 2021 that they will be establishing an online store together. They said at the time that their business, Shop Chesh, will open “soon,” but they didn’t specify a specific date. To share their joyful news, the sisters posed for a photo in Atlanta.
Luke and Caroline have thoroughly accepted their responsibilities as Jordan, Kris, and Til’s parents. Luke and his family have had to deal with a number of tragedies, including the loss of Kelly and Lee. Chris, the singer’s older brother, died in a car accident in 1996.
At the time, Luke was 20 years old. “The loss we’ve experienced has made me realize how precious and fleeting life is,” Luke added. “And yes, I bring that approach into my performances, as well as how I interact with people on a daily basis.
