President-elect Joe Biden bought a textual content from his granddaughter about how police dealt with the US Capitol rioters, telling him: “Pop, this isn’t fair,” he stated Thursday.
He then added: “No one can tell me that if it had been a group of Black Lives Matter protesting yesterday, they wouldn’t have been treated very, very different than the mob of thugs that stormed the Capitol. We all know that’s true, and it is unacceptable.”
We’re undecided what nation Biden lives in — or Kamala Harris, who echoed the remarks — nevertheless it isn’t the United States.
Across the nation, BLM and Antifa have been coddled. Portland allowed them to arrange an autonomous zone in the midst of the town for months, and police and politicians did nothing.
In liberal cities, politicians informed cops to again off and pushed for extra lawbreakers to be launched without bail or no prices.
The thugs who attacked the Capitol have been met with officers combating again at barricades and tear fuel. Guns have been drawn and, in a single case, lethal pressure was used.
The rioters have been capable of getting the run of the Capitol as a result of cops have been vastly outnumbered. Officials are already resigning or being fired due to that failure.
This was a horrible rebellion and needs to be condemned. But Mr. Biden, don’t hypocritically attempt to rewrite the story of last summer season’s riots to counsel that liberals weren’t permissive or that there’s some form of double customary or racism at work right here.
We all noticed what occurred then, all of us see what occurred now.
