Kendall Jenner came out for dinner in a gorgeous babydoll dress after walking the runway for Michael Kors’ new collection for NYFW.
Kendall Jenner came out in a stunning black babydoll dress with tiny feather hems while visiting New York for fashion week.
On Friday, Sept. 10, the model, 25, wore the gown to dinner, teaming it with dark-colored pantyhose and a face mask.
Kendall’s excursion comes after she walked her first catwalk of the season earlier in the day for Michael Kors’ Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Kendall launched the show in a sleek black two-piece combination consisting of a tea-length skirt and bralette, with the theme of “urban romance” this year. She carried a black bucket bag packed with roses, her hair slicked back, and an old Hollywood classic red lip.
Kris Jenner was in present, and she shared footage of the show on Instagram, raving over her daughter’s runway. “This morning, Kendall opened the @michaelkors show!! Kenny, you’re just stunning!!” she wrote. “What a lovely presentation, and the ideal way to start the day!” On the runway, the model was joined by Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk, among others.
Is there going to be another big fashion event in town? The 2021 Met Gala will be held on Monday, September 13th, and will have an American fashion theme. The exhibitions will be split into two segments this year. Part one, titled “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” will open on September 18 and aim to “create a modern vocabulary of fashion in the United States,” according to the press release, as well as feature works from a wide range of designers.
“Belonging, comfort, delight, enthusiasm, dread, sentimentality, and well-being” will be explored. Part two, titled “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” will open on May 5, 2022, and will exhibit “women’s and men’s historical and contemporary attire extending from the 18th century to the present,” including sportswear, “in vignettes displayed in select period rooms,” according to the museum.
Kendall’s outfit for this year’s pandemic-delayed event will undoubtedly pique the interest of fashionistas. The model wore an amazing orange Atelier Versace gown with a plunging neckline and spectacular feathers to the 2019 Met Gala, which was themed “Camp: Notes on Fashion.” Fans will have to wait until Monday to see what Kendall will be wearing this year.
