Let’s get this party started, Michigan! Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos visited Joaquin at school – and watched a Michigan Wolverines game – just weeks after saying a “sad” goodbye to her kid.
“Go Blue!” exclaims the crowd. Kelly Ripa’s Instagram image from Saturday had a caption (Sept. 25). Kelly, 50, is beaming from ear to ear in the photo, and there’s a reason for it. Mark Consuelos, her husband, and their eighteen-year-old son, Joaquin, stood to her left.
The Live host and Riverdale star paid a visit to Joaquin at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 20-13 for their first loss of the season.
“Blue, Blue, Blue!! In the comments, Lizzie Tisch expressed her envy, while Rob Liefeld, a comic book artist (and creator of Deadpool), posted a “Raising Both Hands In Celebration” emoji. “The cutest!!!,” Monica Magnin, Live’s lifestyle correspondent, added.
I hope you had a great time!!” Holly “Omgggg, how exciting!” said Robison Peete. [football emoji] [football emoji] [football emoji [emoji of a blue heart] ” Aaaaaaye Dondré T. Whitfield observed, “My family is getting it in.” “I adore it.”. I’m anticipating the arrival of my Michigan Wrestling hoodie. ”
This happy reunion took place at Michigan Stadium, also known as “The Big House,” just weeks after Kelly revealed how difficult it was for her to drop her kid off at school. “It was time for us to become empty nesters.
We sent our eldest kid to college with us. “We dropped him off,” she revealed on Live with Kelly and Ryan on September 7. Joaquin’s departure meant that all of Kelly’s children had grown up, including her 24-year-old son Michael and her 20-year-old daughter Lola. Kelly described saying goodbye as “really horrifically terrible.” “I hugged him and told him, ‘I didn’t imagine 18 years would fly by so quickly.’ And he remained silent. He was simply hugging me.”
“I shouted, ‘Wait, Joaquin, one more!’ as he started to walk away. And he continued on his way. And I knew the emotion was affecting him as well,” she explained. It’s one of those situations when you can never be completely prepared. But it’s amusing. From the moment Michael departed until the time Joaquin arrived, it seemed like an eternity.”
Kelly, on the other hand, has stated that things haven’t been as bad since the kids moved out. Kelly claimed on Live on September 20 that Mark, 50, prefers to settle their differences with some “sexual time.”
Mark loves to “nip things in the bud” by asking, “Oh, you’re upset?” Kelly said. That’s something I’m well-versed in. Oh, you’re unhappy about something? That’ll be taken care of by me. Oh, you’re worried about being overworked? I’ve figured it out. “I’m aware of your requirements.” There are some advantages to having the entire house to yourself.
