Kanye West has been named as a suspect in a battery incident and is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to a fresh story, Kanye West was involved in an altercation in which he shoved and punched a fan in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Kanye West, 44, has been labelled a suspect in an assault incident that occurred in Los Angeles early Thursday morning (Jan. 13). «The incident occurred around 3 a.m. in downtown LA near the intersections of Bay and Santa Fe street,» the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said in a statement to HollywoodLife. Although no arrests have been made, he has been listed as a suspect in the investigation.»
According to TMZ, the Grammy-winning rapper got into an argument «that went physical» near the Soho Warehouse. According to the report, Kanye «pushed and then punched a male fan.» The LAPD is reportedly investigating the case as a misdemeanour battery with a possible prison penalty of six months. Kanye’s representative has been contacted for comment by HL.

TMZ got a video of Kanye allegedly filmed sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning when the altercation occurred. It depicts the singer ranting violently at two people standing next to a white automobile. «Did you say that or didn’t you?»
Is that anything you said or something you didn’t say? «Because that’s what occurred right now,» Kanye appears to say in the video. According to TMZ, Kanye was seen partying with his new lover, actress Julia Fox, at Delilah nightclub in West Hollywood earlier that evening.
Kanye West and Julia, 31, were photographed out on a dinner date in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, as previously reported. After leaving the restaurant, they linked hands and enjoyed a sweet kiss. On New Year’s Eve, Ye and the Uncut Gems star met for the first time in Miami. They’ve been spotted out and about together a few times since then.
In an accompanying interview, Julia even talked about their growing romance. She gushed, «It was an instant connection.» «It’s a blast to be around him since he’s so energetic. He kept my friends and me laughing, dancing, and smiling the entire night.»

Despite his romance with Julia, Kanye is currently divorcing his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, 41. Kim, who is currently dating Pete Davidson, 28, according to a source, «is truly delighted that Kanye has met someone who makes him so happy.»
«She has completely moved on from their relationship and wants nothing but the best for him,» the source continued. Kim believes it’s wonderful that Kanye has someone who cares about him because that’s all she wants for him at the end of the day.»
