Jennifer Aniston’s interview with host Jermaine Jenas turned incredibly awkward as the ‘Friends’ star kept getting cut off.

On Wednesday, September 8, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon appeared on The One Show to promote Season 2 of The Morning Show. Jen looked to have an unpleasant discussion with host Jermaine Jenas while doing so, which made many viewers cringe.

It all began when the former Friends actor, 52, and Reese, 45, emerged via video chat and began discussing what it was like to record the show in the wee hours of the morning.

“I discovered it’s a slow burn. You guys seem to be in a vampire state of mind and life. Everyone wakes up in the middle of the night, and it’s a sluggish train,” Jen explained. “When I arrived at 5 a.m., the hallways were calm and people were just just waking up, but then the train started going and everything got crazier and crazier. It’s complete chaos.”

Jermaine then appeared to stop Jen and ask Reese a question, implying that Jen isn’t a morning person. “To be honest with you, Reese, Jennifer has pretty much sold it to me that she isn’t a morning person,” he admitted.

Jen, who seemed taken aback by what he’d stated, inquired, “Did I sell that to you?”

“A little bit, a little bit,” he began, before she retorted, “Did I get a decent deal?”

Jermaine awkwardly laughed off the exchange and quickly resumed his conversation with Reese, who handled the situation with ease. “I’m definitely a morning person,” Reese answered when he inquired if she was a morning person.

Jen and I frequently discuss this. I prefer the mornings, while she prefers the evenings. So it works out because I do the early morning sequences and then I’m toast by 4 p.m., and Jen starts about 11 or 12 p.m., and she can do the night scenes since I can’t think straight past 4 p.m.”
