After nearly 40 minutes of presentation, Apple gave in and unveiled the much-anticipated product update: the iPhone 13!
The iPhone 13 is Apple’s new smartphone, which embraces the infamously unlucky number 13 for the next iteration of their phenomenally successful product.
The iPhone 13 comes in a variety of hues, just like the other new Apple goods introduced on Tuesday (pink, blue, “midnight starlight,” and Product RED). It boasts a new chip (the A15 Bionic) at its heart, making it Apple’s most powerful iPhone to date, and the base storage has been upped to 128 GB (a new 512 GB model is also being added at the high end).
Despite a tease from Apple’s “Ted Lasso,” the notch at the top of the screen isn’t going away on the new iPhone. In terms of design, it’s almost identical to last year’s iPhone.
There’s more than one new iPhone model: the iPhone 13 Mini is a smaller version of the iPhone 13. The smaller form factor has the same power as the larger iPhone, but in a smaller package.
According to Apple, the new iPhone 13 starts at $699.
