Injured Andrea Martin drops out of Broadway’s ‘Gary’




Andrea Martin, who safely flew by way of the air in Broadway’s “Pippin” revival six years previously, broke 4 ribs rehearsing her new Broadway current.

That talked about, Nathan Lane can have a model new co-star in “Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus,” Taylor Mac’s comedy about cleaning up the corpses after a grisly, post-Roman Empire civil battle.

“I am heartbroken to have to leave the production, and have tried to convince the doctor that my funny bone is stronger than my broken ribs,” Martin talked about. “But regretfully I must follow the doctor’s orders.”

“Gary,” set to start out out previews on Tuesday, March 5, on the Booth Theater, has moved once more its first effectivity to Friday, March 9. The April 11 opening has however to fluctuate.
