Travis Barker may have laughed at Scott Disick’s shade of Kourtney Kardashian’s PDA at first, but now that a few days have passed, Travis’ actual thoughts are emerging.
On August 31, Travis Barker, 45, brushed off a snub from Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, 38, and now we know why the drummer was unaffected by Scott’s murky direct chats with Kourtney’s other ex, Younes Bendjima.
Travis didn’t mind Scott poking fun at his PDA with Kourtney, according to a number of insiders, because he doesn’t “feel threatened” by Scott or fear that Kourtney will want him back one day.
“Travis understands that what he and Kourtney have is genuine, so the Scott situation doesn’t bother him in the least. “In all honesty, he doesn’t care what Scott does with his life as long as he respects Kourtney and the kids,” a source close to Travis told HollywoodLife.
“Travis would never have gotten involved with Kourtney if he was worried about her getting back together with Scott,” our source stated. That isn’t even a thought that crosses his mind.
It’s no secret that Scott dislikes Travis and Kourtney’s relationship, but Travis is unconcerned by Scott’s feelings because he only cares about Kourtney’s happiness. Travis doesn’t have time for drama, so he’s solely focused on his relationship with Kourtney and will let them sort out any issues they may have.”
Scott’s criticism of Kourtney and Travis’ PDA isn’t quite apparent, but some fans assume that it’s because he never got over Kourtney and doesn’t like watching her make out with other men. Scott’s romance with Amelia Hamlin, 20, ended as a result of his diss. But it doesn’t rule out the possibility of a freshly single Scott swooping in and stealing Kourtney from Travis. Travis and Kourtney, after all, have something special.
Another insider close to the rocker told us, “Travis and Kourtney are stronger than ever.” “Travis seems unconcerned about the Scott issue because he knows he has a nice thing going with Kourtney and that’s all he cares about. It’s all background noise to him.”
“Travis has gone through so many awful and incredible things in his life that his kids and Kourtney are his only concern,” a third source added. He won’t play petty games with anyone’s ex or get involved in any drama. It’s just not his personality. He’s tremendously successful on his own and has been for a long time, and as the world’s biggest drummer, he has far more important things to do with his time than care about or remark on Scott.”
