Helena Christensen looked stunning in a sultry black bodysuit from her Strk&Christensen label.
Helena Christensen looked stunning in a black Strk&Christensen bodysuit. On Wednesday, Nov. 10, the 52-year-old model shared some behind-the-scenes glam images on Instagram. While in the studio, she wore a sultry plunging bodysuit.
She captioned the photo, which began with a close-up of her wavy hair and makeup, “BTS glam and a little black number.” In the last two photos, the model posed in front of a full-length mirror.
Helena and designer Camilla Strk founded Strk&Christensen, a New York-based firm that specializes in fashion, interiors, architecture, and film, in 2016. Helena recounted how the cooperation came to be in a joint interview with Interview Magazine in 2015. “We’ve known each other for a long time,” she explained, “but it all started with work and collaborations.” “It just grew organically into other collaborations, and then a friendship.”
“Usually it’s the other way around,” she said. You’ll know a girlfriend for a long time before deciding, ‘Perhaps we should do something together.’ But it was instantaneous with us: ‘We should do something together.’ “Oh, hey, why aren’t we hanging out together outside of work…having white wine?” came next. We met 15 years ago, but friendships are good to develop later in life.”
In addition to her employment at Strk&Christensen, the model is also the creative director of Strangelove, a fragrance brand for which she frequently models in picture campaigns. Helena has been posting more photos of her life and house on Instagram recently. In April, she and her son Mingus, 22, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Norman Reedus, participated in a Victoria’s Secret Mother’s Day commercial. Mingus appeared to be a carbon copy of his mother.
According to the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, her son was detained in September for allegedly hitting a woman in the face in New York while attending the San Gennaro festival. Mingus told the New York Daily News that the woman and her companions chased him down and that he “threw his arm out,” hitting her in the face by accident. “I was reacting to them rushing me and was fearful for my group’s safety,” he alleged, adding, “It was extremely obvious that these girls were under the influence and looking for a fight.”
