Grace Jones flaunted her toned form on stage at London Fashion Week’s Icon Ball in a sultry bodysuit – view the photographs here!
Grace Jones, 73, stole the show on stage at the Icon Ball during London Fashion Week on Friday, Sept. 17 in a jaw-dropping bodysuit (which she’s done beautifully before). The hitmaker wore a one-of-a-kind black sequined costume, which the star-studded audience at the Landmark Hotel seemed to like.
A tight black corset was coupled with a long black sequined coat and a feathered headpiece to complete the look. Grace Jones, as previously stated, made sure she was the focus of attention on stage, and her costume aided her in this endeavor.
Grace Jones is said to have backed down from her role in the forthcoming James Bond film No Time To Die, resulting in the sultry performance. The singer was reported to make a cameo in the new film in 2019, 34 years after she co-starred with Roger Moore in A View To A Kill. It’s unclear why Grace turned down the part and the opportunity to return to the long-running franchise, but according to The Sun, Grace was unhappy with the writing.
“The bosses were ecstatic to have her on board. They planned deluxe accommodations and laid out the red carpet on set to make her feel welcome, as she comes with a reputation,” a source previously told The Sun. “However, Grace was expecting a bigger role in the film and saw her tiny cameo for a slight.”
Grace Jones may not be appearing in the new James Bond film, but she is still performing and fans may enjoy her talents on stage.
