In the third episode of ‘Foundation,’ Phara made a spectacular appearance. HL spoke with Kubbra Sait EXCLUSIVELY about her strong character Phara and what she actually wants.
Phara is not to be trifled with. Kubbra Sait’s character first appeared at the end of the third episode of Foundation, and her narrative is only getting started. Kubbra speaks with HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY about what Phara wants and how far she’ll go to get it.
“I believe she is looking for redemption.” “When injustice has been done to her, she wants justice,” Kubbra told HollywoodLife. “We’ve seen the Empire’s atrocities on her world and people. So, whence did she originate?
There must also be motivation. Because the Anacreons have been exiled, we learn in the first few moments before Phara comes that everyone in Terminus is worried of detecting an Anacreon spaceship in the Periphery.
So, what’s the deal? The good news is that everyone is aware that a threat exists. Everyone understands that this is the build-up to something monumental, something to look forward to in the upcoming episodes.”
Phara has her weapon drawn on Salvor Hardin when we first encounter her. Kubbra admired Phara’s “tenacity” from the start. “She has this mentality of never giving up,” she said, “and it might come at any cost.”
There will be a lot more moments between Salvor and Phara in the future. “I believe we’ve fallen in love [laughs].” I don’t think we’ll be able to survive without each other. Kubbra told HollywoodLife, “I think Salvor and Phara are going to be a very interesting duo to look out for.”
Kubbra admires the show’s worldwide cast, which includes people from all walks of life. “It basically catapults us into an other galaxy with no judgment as a whole,” Kubbra remarked. “And we’re all experiencing this universe together, creating something that can be knitted and weaved together to make a single story.” As an actor and performer, I find that intriguing.”
Foundation is a weekly show on Apple TV+ that airs once a week. The show has just received a second season renewal.
