Season 6 of ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ premieres on January 6th. The action coming in the all-new episodes is featured in an EXCLUSIVE trailer from HollywoodLife.
Season 6 of Growing Up Hip Hop will premiere in 2022! The new episodes will pick up right where the midseason finale left off. HollywoodLife has the EXCLUSIVE trailer for the upcoming season, which previews all of the outrageous action.
Pepa is concerned because Sam Mattick has gotten himself into some legal difficulties. “We’ve got damage to fix if this whole court process flips left,” Pepa tells Egypt Criss.
Tanice and Jojo Simmons had a baby child, but their relationship is having some difficulties. “I put a lot of things on hold,” Tanice admits, “and we both know I don’t want that to happen again.” “You imply I don’t help with the child, which is so incorrect,” Jojo responds.
Tee Tee, on the other hand, does not have an official wedding planner. She acknowledges to Shawn that arranging the wedding isn’t her favorite thing to do. Angela Simmons is asked if she is in the place in her life where she expected to be. “No. “Do we ever think we’re where we expected to be?” she asks.
The Growing Up Hip Hop team may “Need the OGs far more than expected,” according to Twist in the trailer. “Legacy will not be lighted,” Treach states at one point. It will be consumed by fire.”
Layzie Bone (Bone Thugs-n-Harmony) is introduced to the squad in the second half of season 6, giving new wisdom to many in the gang, including newbies Sakoya Wynter, daughter of JoJo Hailey (Jodeci) and Layzie Bones’ goddaughter, and Devin Hailey, son of K-Ci Hailey (Jodeci). Twist labels Sakoya a “villain,” but her OGs encourage her to construct a bridge between herself and the others.
Angela also makes a hasty relocation to Atlanta, along with intentions to freeze her eggs for future children, prompting Vanessa Simmons to question Angela’s decision-making once more. After the birth of their kid, Jojo and Tanice experience unforeseen marital difficulties and are forced to reignite their romance.
Cree Campbell is still working on her connection with her father, Uncle Luke while juggling the pressures of wanting to be a mother one day. The dissatisfaction of Eric “Lil Eazy-E” Wright Jr. with his father’s documentary leads to an unexpected one-on-one meeting with an OG. The stakes are upped when Sam, Briana, and Twist have run-ins with the law, resulting in changes in conduct and the possibility of jail time. Season 6 of Growing Up Hip Hop will show on WE tv on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
