Drew Barrymore and her ex-husband have remained close friends, and she has even admitted to ‘worshiping’ his new wife.

Drew Barrymore, 46, and Will Kopelman, 43, separated in April 2016, but the two are still close friends because they share two daughters, Olive, 9, and Frankie, 7.

Will has already moved on, marrying Alexandra Michler on August 28, and there is no ill will between them, as Drew professed her love for Alexandra, even going so far as to claim she “worships” her.

Drew Barrymore admitted that she “worships” her ex-husband, Will Kopelman’s, new wife, Alexandra Michler.

Drew spoke about her ex-husband on Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, on September 27. She explained, “He just got remarried last week to this most lovely woman.” “This incredible woman Allie, and I feel like I truly won the lotto with her. I consider myself fortunate that this new wonderful soul has entered our lives.”

Drew & Will got married in 2012 & divorced in 2016. They share two daughters together – Olive, 9, & Frankie, 7.

Drew loves Allie, but she doesn’t want Allie to think she’s going to “try to be her best friend.” Allie, on the other hand, “knows that I absolutely admire the ground she walks on, and I’m her biggest cheerleader,” she said.

“We hang out,” Drew revealed, adding that she gives “them space.” We have dinners with all of the kids and celebrate birthdays. We may go on a trip together; we’re finding our way in a lovely, slow, and polite manner.”

“I’m just very blessed because she came into Will’s life and got to know my daughters intimately and honestly, seeing all the warts and all the hearts, and everything in between. “It was literally like, ‘I chose you,’” she explained. “It’s a miracle, and I know miracles exist because I was so heartbroken when our relationship didn’t work out because I so much wanted this.”

Drew and Will married in 2012 and divorced in 2016, but their two daughters were flower girls at Allie and Will’s wedding earlier this month.
