Dog The Bounty Hunter Walks Into Knee-Deep Swamp Water As…

While searching for Brian Laundrie, the person of interest in Gabby Petito’s homicide case, Dog the Bounty Hunter posted a video showing himself swimming through water “on the islands off the West Coast of Florida.”

On Oct. 3, Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, 68, showed he’s willing to get his hands dirty in order to find missing Brian Laundrie.

The media celebrity, who began his own search for the 23-year-old person of interest in Gabby Petito’s death, posted a video clip on his Twitter page of himself trudging through swamp waters on an island off the coast of Florida, and stated he’d been working hard all weekend.

“The hunt for the missing person resumed over the weekend on the islands off Florida’s west coast. “#justiceforgabby #brianlaundrie,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram image.

In the video, a fully clothed Dog slowly enters the water after moving a boat out of the way and wanders with others in the area while surrounded by trees. They’re all hunting for the experienced hiker and appear to be quite focused and motivated to get what they came for.

Dog’s current video was released two weeks after he originally revealed that he was joining the search for Brian, who has been missing since September 14. Since the announcement, he’s stated that he’s received a slew of intriguing leads that could lead to the discovery of Gabby’s former fiancé, whose death was discovered in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park on Sept. 19, eight days after she was reported missing. One of the leads has brought him to a campsite that Brian may have visited recently.

The FBI has been actively hunting for Brian in the North Port, FL region, where he was last seen, in addition to Dog and his crew. In the months preceding up to her untimely death, Brian was on a cross-country camping and hiking vacation with Gabby, who can be seen with him in the photo above.

Gabby’s family and friends ceased hearing from her around August 28 after she traveled in her van and documented their adventures on social media and YouTube during July and August. On Sept. 1, Brian returned to his parents’ North Port house, where they both lived, but he was alone and soon hired a lawyer.

Gabby’s parents didn’t hear from Brian or his family despite repeated attempts to reach them, and they reported their daughter missing on September 11. The tale drew a lot of attention from the media, and Brian’s parents reported him missing a few days before Gabby’s body was discovered.

After it was discovered that he used a debit card without authorization in the days following Gabby’s disappearance, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Brian’s parents have continued to refuse to speak about the matter and have only made statements through their lawyer.
