Roommates, it seems to prefer it’s all “Love” between Diddy and J. Cole per his latest Instagram submit. It appears that the boys have buried the hatchet and let their beef die down.
If you recall, after a hiatus, Cole lastly dropped his new album ‘The Off Season’ final month. Cole had time and introduced up his alleged beef with Diddy from an incident at a 2013 Video Music Awards (VMA) get-together. In the tune ‘Let.Go.My.Hand.’
he rapped, “Couple wins, couple losses, some broken up too quick to call it. My last scrap was with Puff Daddy. Who would’ve thought it? I bought that ni** album in seventh grade and played it so much. You would’ve thought my favorite rapper was Puff. Back then, I ain’t know s**t, now I know too much.”
Everyone has their very own thought of what occurred between the boys, however, on the latest episode of the Sayles’s Kazlow podcast, Cole’s supervisor Ibrahim “IB” Hamad doubled down on the tweet that he made final 12 months, shutting down the rumor that the problem with Diddy & Cole was over a disagreement about Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean’s ‘Control.’
If you recall, Kendrick got here for everybody in his verse. “But this is hip-hop, and them ni**as should know what time it is. And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron, Tyler, Mac Miller.” He ended the verse by stating, spiting, “I got love for you all, but I’m tryna murder you ni**as.”
In the episode, IB stated, “It was definitely not like he was defending Kendrick or something. It wasn’t like, ‘Don’t talk to Kendrick like that!’”
Either approach, it doesn’t matter what, it’s good to see the 2 males come collectively!
