Denver Airport flights canceled, delayed Thursday due to weather




A sturdy winter storm has triggered 183 flight cancelations and 44 flight delays on Thursday at Denver International Airport, a web-based flight service says.

DIA officers have requested airline passengers to confirm their flight standing sooner than going to the airport and to give themselves additional time to get to the airport due to poor driving conditions.

Airport crews labored through the evening time to maintain runways clear, in accordance to a 5:12 a.m. DIA tweet.

United Airlines has canceled 74 flights or 17 p.c of their full flights and delayed one different 9 flights in and out of DIA, in accordance to FlightAware.

SkyWest has canceled 49 flights, which is 17 p.c of its scheduled flights, FlightAware signifies.

The cancelations are solely a fraction of the 755 flights canceled when a winter storm rolled into Colorado on Wednesday.
