Cinnamon Toast Crunch Mascot Freaks Out Fans Watching Mets-Marlins Game

Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a tasty snack. The huge mascot of the breakfast cereal, however, was difficult for spectators to swallow as it sat behind home plate at the Mets-Marlins game in Miami on Tuesday.

Imagine being the pitcher and trying to concentrate on the strike zone as General Mills’ nightmare stares at you:

The large square also blocked the view of spectators in some photographs from the game. Hey there, sweetie, down in front!

Cereal samples were allegedly given out at the stadium, but they are unlikely to have had the same impact as the mascot, who provided exposure in a pinch.

Twitter poured it on the distracting square:

How do you even pitch with that there?

Therapist: The Giant Cinnamon Toast Crunch isn’t real. It can’t hurt you.

Did I miss something or something? What in the hell is going on? I’m horrified.

I can’t bring a plastic grocery bag into the Brewers game, but the Marlins let in a piece of cinnamon toast crunch big enough for three seats.

A couple hundred dollars for seats behind home plate at a Mets-Marlins game and discovering you’re behind Cinnamon Toast Crunch… and a dreadful view

Wearing your seatbelt: Priceless#BuckleUp and maybe next time you will sit behind Toucan Sam

The Cinnamon Toast Crunch thing should be behind home plate when the *Mets* are pitching, not the Marlins. Distracting af.

Did anyone check the giant Cinnamon Toast Crunch’s ticket. He’s suspect for sure.

Who had “Cinnamon Toast Crunch Guy sitting behind home plate at the Marlins game” on their bingo card?
