On Friday, September 3, Nichols announced the birth with an Instagram Story photo of the baby’s hand.
On Thursday, September 2, although Compono, 28, was scheduled for an induction, she went into labor naturally. She posted on Instagram, “We are ready!” “It’s been a strange ride and a long 41 weeks,” says the author.
In February, the Challenge alums announced that they were starting a family. “Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! “I gave Jenna some love, and now she’s giving me a family,” the 33-year-old Michigan native captioned his Instagram announcement, which included heart-shaped balloons and ultrasound photographs. “I’ve never been so ecstatic in my life. August can’t arrive soon enough… since Jenna will be a milf for the first time.”
In a separate post, the then-pregnant actress wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day!” We’re expecting our first child, and Zach and I are really excited. We chose to start the next chapter of our lives after our wedding was postponed [due to the coronavirus outbreak]. It wasn’t a difficult decision for us; we were both ecstatic and prepared. Fortunately, we were able to become pregnant on our first attempt and have had no issues during my first trimester. We are truly blessed, and we are looking forward to meeting our baby in August.”
Following that, the former reality stars started an Instagram page for their baby, where they tracked the New York native’s pregnant journey.
The couple utilized blue balloons to reveal the gender of their upcoming baby boy in March.
While waiting for their baby, the former MTV stars married in Michigan, surrounded by family and friends. The bride published images from their modest ceremony on Instagram at the time, announcing that their grander wedding would take place in New York in April 2022.
Five years after meeting on the set of The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2, the couple got engaged in December 2019. They reconciled in May 2018 after splitting in 2016 due to Nichols’ adultery.
He remarked on Instagram at the time, “Love isn’t practical.” “It’s not supposed to be easy. It does not appear in response to a command. It doesn’t allow you to fall in love with anyone you want. It appears neither at the most convenient nor at the most opportune time.”
“I tell him we’re going to have six kids, we’re going to live in a mansion, I pretty much laid it all out on the table,” his then-girlfriend exclusively told Us Weekly about why she wasn’t willing to quit their relationship over a “stupid fight.” He’s on the ground. We’ve discussed marriage, children, and my relocation [to Michigan], and we’re going to attempt to do it in the appropriate order!”
