Judge Brenda J. Penny suspended her father Jamie Spears, 69, on Sept. 29, bringing the singer’s 13-year conservatorship to an end for good.

According to the most recent court order, the Spears father will be replaced by John Zabel, a qualified public accountant who will be in charge of Britney’s finances.

According to family law attorney Sabrina Shaheen Cronin, founder and managing partner of The Cronin Law Firm, JD, MBA, the singer’s conservatorship could be lifted as soon as the next hearing in November, based on the documents Jamie is being ordered to hand over.

“With Jamie’s conservatorship halted, he no longer has the authority or power to make decisions on Britney’s behalf. Instead, he’ll have to hand over control to John Zabel, an accountant, who will now be in charge of Britney’s finances,” Sabrina says. “Until the November hearing, when the Judge reviews the case again and decides whether the conservatorship should end completely, John Zabel will have the ability to review Britney’s income and accounts and make decisions regarding how the money can and will be spent to promote Britney’s best interests.”

Britney’s estranged father will no longer have any authority over her day-to-day life, and he will be obliged to hand up all material pertaining to the Stronger singer’s life during the 13-year conservatorship to John, which will most certainly be reviewed by the court.

“Those documents could contain a lot of sensitive information about Britney, such as particular facts on what she spends her money on, her income and net worth, and her expenditures and debts,” Sabrina explains.

“The fact that the Judge has suspended Jamie from his duty and has scheduled a further hearing in November, where it is expected that she will cancel the conservatorship entirely, is a big success for Britney after years of fighting to reclaim authority over this element of her life.”

Britney’s conservatorship has been in the public glare for several years with little to no progress, as fans are aware. However, it wasn’t until the July 14 meeting that the singer demanded that her father be removed from the arrangement entirely — and that she wanted him to. “I’m petitioning the court to remove my father as conservator,” she explained. “Today, I want to file accusations against my father.” “My lawyer didn’t fight for me once,” Britney subsequently added. No, I am not flawless. I am not insane. My family was unconcerned.” She was able to employ her own lawyer after that hearing, which was a significant step toward permanently ending her conservatorship.

The “…Baby One More Time” singer has hired attorney Mathew Rosengart to handle her lawsuit. He spoke to the crowd outside the courtroom after the hearing on Wednesday, saying that a court date has been set for November 12 to determine if the conservatorship should be terminated. He said, “It’s a beautiful day for justice.” “[Britney] is overjoyed. We’re all overjoyed.”
