On season 30 of ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ Brian Austin Green is partnered with his girlfriend, Sharna Burgess — but she’s not his first high-profile romance!
During season 30 of Dancing With the Stars, Brian Austin Green is turning up the heat on the dance floor. Brian’s dancing partner on the dance floor is actually his fiancée, Sharna Burgess, who is a professional dancer, in an unusual twist for the show.
Brian and Sharna’s romance has made headlines since they started dating in 2020, and they appear to be more serious than ever on their DWTS adventure. Of course, Sharna isn’t the only high-profile lady Brian has dated. Find out more about his previous girlfriends by reading on:
Tiffani Thiessen was Brian’s girlfriend from 1992 to 1995. When Tiffani earned her part on Brian’s sitcom, Beverly Hills, 90210, in 1994, they were already dating.
Tiffani and Brian were met through a mutual acquaintance, and despite her reservations about accepting the part, she stated she and Brian were able to “make it work.” She also stated in 2015 that she and her ex-husband are “still extremely close and wonderful friends.” During their relationship, Brian and Tiffani shared a home.
Brian revealed on a podcast in 2020, “We started dating far before she was performing the show.” “It was an odd moment. We split up not long after she appeared on the show. I’m not blaming the show, but I’m blaming it in a way.
It was perplexing. Tiffani was the first woman I had ever been in a relationship with. I used to be a kid.” However, after Brian and Tiffani’s real-life relationship ended, their characters on 90210 began dating. “We went through a phase in our personal lives where we tried to keep as much distance as possible from each other while still seeing each other every day at work,” Brian said.
In the late 1990s, Brian met Vanessa Marcil after she earned a job on Beverly Hills, 90210. They began dating in 1999 and married in July of 2001. Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, the couple’s son, was born in March 2002, and they were planning to marry soon after. They did, however, end up breaking up in 2003.
Unfortunately, after their breakup, Vanessa and Brian’s lives were not always easy. Vanessa publicly chastised Brian in 2018, alleging that he and his then-wife Megan Fox had cut Kassius out of their lives during a custody struggle. Megan and Brian had previously attempted to win full custody of Kassius, but after Vanessa was granted joint custody, Brian allegedly stopped contacting his oldest son, according to her.
“They opted on their own five years ago to entirely shut Kass out of their lives and the lives of his younger brothers,” Vanessa stated at the time. “He’s only ever seen his father in passing or in public.” By 2019, Kassius was spotted with his father, and Vanessa confirmed in September 2020 that Brian had returned to his son’s life.
Even Nevertheless, Vanessa and Brian’s relationship remained tense. She also responded to a fan asking on why she usually “speaks so harshly” about Brian on social media in the same month. “I only reveal the truth now at my son’s request in order to help him heal and not have to carry these secrets any longer,” she explained. “It is his fault if his father’s behaviors reflect badly on him.
It’s not my fault. Given the full tragedy that my son went experienced, I speak with empathy for Kassius’ father.” “If you look back at our past, his father sought to publicly trash me, lie about me, embarrass me as a working mother, and take complete custody of myself,” she continued. I never said anything. Now he admits it. After what he put our innocent son through, he’s lucky I don’t “talk negatively” about him.”
Regardless of everything that happened in the past, though, Vanessa seemed to be supportive of Brian during his Dancing With the Stars debut. Kassius showed up at the premiere to support his father, and Vanessa shared a snapshot of the adolescent on his way to the studio. She wrote, “Headed to see Dad.” “#TeamGreen.”
Brian’s most well-known relationship is with Megan Fox. After meeting on the set of Hope & Faith in 2004, the two began dating. Brian was 30 years old at the time, and Megan was only 18 years old.
The actress subsequently admitted that he was first apprehensive because of the age gap, but she was able to persuade him that she was more than simply a teenager. Brian proposed to Megan in 2006, but three years later, in 2009, they called off their engagement.
The exes, however, ended their separation in June 2010 and announced that they were engaged again. They married in Hawaii just a few days later. Noah, the couple’s first son, was born in September 2012, and Bodhi, the couple’s second son, was born in February 2014.
Unfortunately, their relationship encountered another snag in 2015 when they divorced for the second time. In August of that year, Megan even filed for divorce. However, by early 2016, the couple had reconciled and were expecting their third child. Megan filed for divorce in April 2019, after another son, Journey, was born in August 2016.
Megan then began stoking romance rumors with Machine Gun Kelly, whom she met on a movie set, in the spring of 2020. Brian announced that he and Megan had broken up again after she participated in his May 2020 music video. In November of this year, she filed for divorce for the second time.
While Brian and Megan have managed to co-parent successfully following their divorce, there has been at least one public spat. Brian shared a photo of the couple’s kid, Journey, on Instagram on Halloween 2020. Megan has always been adamant about keeping her children out of the spotlight until they are old enough to decide if they want to be in it, so this irritated her. She questioned, “Why does Journey have to be in this picture?” “Cropping them out is simple. Alternatively, select photographs in which they are not present.
I know you love your kids, but I’m not sure why you can’t stop posting on Instagram with them. I’m an absent mother, and you’re the perennial, endlessly dedicated dad of the year, because you’re so consumed with feeding the prevailing narrative. You have them at least half of the time. Congratulations on being such a fantastic human being! Why do you need the Internet to reaffirm something that should be self-evident in the way your children love you?”
Brian was caught out on a lunch date with Courtney Stodden, who is 21 years younger than him, just over a month after confirming his breakup from Megan. Courtney was also seen wearing Brian’s hat during their purported affair, and she posted a video on Instagram of the two of them snuggling up in a hot tub together. Courtney and Brian, on the other hand, appeared to have quite different notions about what they wanted from each other, and things between them rapidly became publically sour.
In July 2020, Courtney said, “Brian wanted me to remain his little secret,” calling the actor a “womanizer.” She claimed that another woman told her that Brian was seeing them as well, despite the couple’s fling. Meanwhile, Brian said that the video of Courtney in the hot tub was taken as a favor for one of her friends.
He explained, “I was simply trying to be a nice man and I filmed a video for her friend Ashley saying hi.” He further claimed that Courtney uploaded the video to the internet a month after it was shot, causing incorrect rumors about the couple’s relationship state at the time. Brian said, “I think she’s a great girl, but I think she’s making some awful choices.”
He opened up on his regrets from his time with Courtney in August 2020, owing to her past (Courtney famously married a 51-year-old man when she was just 16). “I remember getting a call after hanging out with Courtney saying, ‘I saw images of you and Courtney Stodden,’ and I was like, ‘How do you know her name?’” he explained. “I hadn’t done any research.
It wasn’t until I learned who this individual was that I knew what you might go through. Then there’s that time when you think to yourself, “Oh s***, what have I done?” and wish you’d known sooner. He did add, though, that she was a “very sweet lady” whom he “didn’t want to badmouth.”
BAG began spending time with Tina Louise, an Australian model, about the same period that he was linked to Courtney. Brian and Tina first appeared in public together towards the end of June.
Courtney posted the hot tub video on Instagram the same day the paparazzi found them together, which Brian later described as a “calculated” act on her part. Tina and Brian’s first date took place at Tina’s vegan restaurant, Sugar Taco, on the same day they met in person.
Brian and Tina spent a lot of time together over the next few weeks and were photographed packing on the PDA on multiple occasions. However, things rapidly faded out, and they broke up after only a month of dating.
Brian revealed in August 2020 that he met both Courtney and Tina on Instagram. When Megan and I split up, I started getting DMs all of a sudden,” the 48-year-old explained. “I’d get these Direct Messages, and when you’re going through something like that and you’re hurting, it helps to know that someone is on your side.”
Brian and Sharna initially became linked at the end of 2020, just than a month after Megan filed for divorce. In December, the two were caught leaving for a post-Christmas trip together. Brian revealed his relationship with Sharna for the first time only a few weeks afterwards. He said, “She’s fantastic, incredibly responsible, and super lovely.”
“She is a loving, passionate, and enjoyable person to be around. Right now, I’m feeling fortunate.” He revealed at the time that he and Sharna hadn’t given their relationship a name yet, but that they met through their mutual business manager.
Brian and Sharna made their Instagram debut in mid-January. In an interview in February, she openly raved over him for the first time, as well as heaping love on Megan. Sharna replied, “He and his wife — uh, ex-wife — have raised three wonderful children.”
“And they are great, sweet, kind, and caring people. They’ve done an incredible job. They’re handling their predicament admirably, in my opinion. As a result, I’m grateful that I’ve been able to integrate myself into their world.”
Brian and Sharna’s relationship has only grown more serious in the months since. She has been seen spending time with his children, and the two aren’t hesitant about flaunting their affection for one another on social media and in public. Sharna also implied that she and Brian had discussed a more serious future together when she tagged a photo of them together in early September 2021 with the words “Endgame.”
Brian’s professional dance partner will be Sharna, according to the debut of Dancing With the Stars on September 20. Of course, this means they’ll have even more time together, but it also means they’ll face a new hurdle in their relationship. After the premiere, Sharna told HollywoodLife and other media sites, “It’s a learning curve for me.”
“I’ve never done anything like this before. So everything is new to me. The toughest issue, I believe, is learning that balance every day and how to approach it. But we haven’t experienced a bad day because our relationship’s communication is so strong.”
