Ben Affleck and his two daughters went out for ice cream! The actor had ice cream in a cone, while Seraphina and Violet had ice cream in cups.
Ben Affleck is the best father on the planet! On Friday, Sept. 17, the 49-year-old was photographed in Brentwood with his daughters Violet Affleck, 15, and Seraphina Affleck, 12, having ice cream in a waffle cone. Violet and Seraphina enjoyed a refreshing treat as well, opting for easier (and less messy) cups. Ben wore a face mask and aviator sunglasses, as well as his favorite blue-and-red plaid shirt, to look low-key and calm.
The flannel button down has been worn by the Oscar winner many times over the years, and it has even entered the “Bennifer” zeitgeist: Jennifer Lopez, Ben’s girlfriend (and crucially, former fiancée), wore it on a private flight to Los Angeles.
As she descended the plane’s stairs on June 11 with her children Max and Emme, 13, eagle-eyed admirers instantly noticed the enormous item on the “Dear Ben” singer, which she draped over a crop top and white sweatpants.
Ben paired the fall-ready piece with black pants and white-and-cream colored sneakers for his family outing. Violet and Seraphina were also dressed casually, with the 15-year-old — who looks almost like her mother Jennifer Garner, 49 — wearing a magenta colored dress with camel leather wedges. Seraphina wore bright green Crocs, Alo Yoga ribbed sweatpants, and a black sweatshirt with a “W” on it to show off her style.
Ben’s visit with Violet and Seraphina follows his back-to-back adventures with J.Lo, which included their Venice Film Festival red carpet debut! Jennifer looked stunning in a white gown as she stood by Ben’s side at the premiere of his film, The Last Duel, where the two were all over each other. Ben and Jen, who were engaged from 2002 to 2004, appeared ecstatic as they kissed for the cameras and screaming fans, and continued their PDA while they travelled around Venice, Italy in the days after.
Following their vacation to Europe, the two arrived in New York, where they also attended the Met Gala together. Jennifer wore traditional American designer Ralph Lauren, who created a unique western inspired ensemble for her, and she completely reflected the “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” theme (complete with a hat). The couple enjoyed a disguised kiss on the red carpet before walking into the lavish soirée, nodding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ben also followed Jen to her home neighborhood of The Bronx the next day, where she demonstrated her support for a local Latina bookstore as part of her new philanthropic enterprise Limitless Labs. Outside, Ben and Jen shined as they cheerfully greeted fans. The Pearl Harbor star went inside for a single smoke at one point, where he shared a joke with a Bachelorette party and mentioned that his “lady” was inside.
