America Ferrera shared a photo of herself wearing the stunning blue gown she wore to the 2007 Emmy Awards to a recent party with a friend, admitting it’s the ‘fanciest item’ in her closet.
With her recent Instagram photo, America Ferrera, 37, is bringing back some real nostalgia for her admirers!
To attend a friend’s 40th birthday party, the actress donned her classic 2007 Emmy Awards gown and posed for a photo while carrying her Emmy.
She paired the new photo with a professional red carpet photo of herself wearing the blue sleeveless gown at the momentous event 14 years ago. Take a look at the image HERE.
“When your friend’s 40th birthday dress code is ‘Fanciest thing already in your closet.’ After 14 years, I finally got this baby out. “I left the bling at home, but I had a blast and felt beautiful in my 2007 Emmy dress by @moniquelhuillier #rewear,” the amazing actress captioned the epic photo.
She accessorized her latest outfit with the same black belt she wore around her dress during the Emmys, and she even had her hand on her hip in the photo, just like she did after winning her trophy all those years ago. It didn’t take long for her supporters to react to the side-by-side comparison.
One fan said, “And looking better than ever 14 years later,” while another wrote, “Wow.” You have a fantastic appearance! “I’m going backwards in time.” A third described her as “always lovely,” while a fourth said she looked “fantastic!” Others responded with heart emojis and other encouraging emoticons.
America dazzled at the 2021 Emmy Awards earlier this month before posting her current photo. She wore a stunning purple gown to the occasion, and her long hair was pulled back into a low ponytail with a few loose strands framing their face. She also wore turquoise hanging earrings and a crimson lipstick in an evening manner that accentuated her lovely features.
America showed her joy about her recent Emmys look in an Instagram post packed of photos and videos. She captioned the photo, “So much joy to glam today with wonderful artists that make it look so easy.” “It’s not easy at all. It needs a village, as well as genuine talent.
And sometimes the glitz isn’t that glitzy (see last pic for how I avoided getting sweat stains and wrinkles in the car). Big thanks to my date, @elsamariecollins, for sporting the complementary jewel tones.”
