While posing for photographers at the red carpet premiere of George Clooney’s latest directorial film, “The Tender Bar,” the Clooneys were a stunning couple.
George and Amal Clooney are known for bringing their best fashion appearances to any Hollywood event. The superstar pair walked out in Los Angeles on Sunday (October 3) for the red carpet premiere of George’s latest film, The Tender Bar, looking absolutely stunning.
The 60-year-old actor and director looked dashing in a gray suit with a black button-up and black shoes, while Amal, 43, dazzled in a black and white cutout dress with crystal earrings and heels.
While being photographed on the red carpet, George and Amal had large smiles on their faces. George draped one arm around his wife’s waist and put the other in his pocket to show off his expensive watch. Amal also wore a clutch purse that complemented her black ensemble for the occasion.
The couple’s first red carpet appearance together since May 2019 was at the premiere of Tender Bar. Ben Affleck, Ty Sheridan, Lily Rabe, and Christopher Lloyd, among the film’s star-studded cast, attended the event, which also featured the first showing of George’s new movie. On December 17, the film will have a limited theatrical release before becoming available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video on January 7, 2022.
On the red carpet, George discussed his experience quarantining with Amal and their 4-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella Clooney, during the COVID pandemic with Entertainment Tonight. “It was all OK. You just have a horrible feeling about the world and everything, you know? But our kids are four, and they were two and a half when it began, so they weren’t missing out on much,” the Oscar winner explained. “So I didn’t have to teach them trigonometry at home,” she says.
Meanwhile, Amal added that her husband has been a “wonderful” teacher to their children. “For the time being, he’s mostly teaching pranks,” the humanitarian rights lawyer explained. “But we’ll see how things progress,” she continued.
