Regina has received an outpouring of celebrity support as she mourns the suicide of her only child.

Regina King is being showered with love and sympathy as she mourns the loss of her only child. Following the devastating news that Regina’s son Ian Alexander Jr. died by suicide at the age of 26, Janet Jackson, Kid Cudi, Josh Gad, and other celebrities shared their sorrow.

Many of the postings on social media showed devastating photographs of the mother and son, while others just expressed their sympathy.

Celebrities reacted to the tragic death of Regina King’s son Ian Alexander Jr.

Janet replied, «I’m so sad to hear about Ian,» with a photo of Regina putting her head on Ian. «Please know that @iamreginaking, I am here for you. Regina confirmed Ian’s death on Saturday, prompting an outpouring of solidarity and compassion from Hollywood’s brightest (January 22). «The loss of Ian has saddened our family to the core,» Regina, 51, said in a statement to People.

«He was such a brilliant light who genuinely cared about other people’s happiness. During this private time, our family requests that you treat us with respect. «Thank you very much.» Regina’s representatives have been contacted for comment by HollywoodLife.
