Megan Huff leads Utah past Alabama, 72-62, in women’s basketball

Senior ahead Megan Huff posted 21 factors and 12 rebounds Tuesday evening and Utah rode a second-half surge to a 72-62 ladies’s basketball victory over Alabama on the Huntsman Middle.

Daneesha Provo added 12 factors, Kiana Moore had 11 and Dre’Una Edwards, the Pac-12 freshman of the week, scored 10 for Utah. Dru Gylten recorded 10 factors and 7 assists for the Utes (2-Zero). Alabama (1-1) was led by Jasmine Walker with 18 factors.

Alabama was picked 10th within the 14-team Southeastern Convention preseason ballot, corresponding to Utah’s eighth-place forecast within the Pac-12.
