Frontier pilots to vote on proposed contract over holidays




DENVER — Frontier Airways pilots might be voting on whether or not to just accept a brand new contract proposal over the vacations.

Union leaders on Wednesday unanimously backed sending the deal to a vote after over two years of contract negotiations with the Denver-based low cost provider.

Union spokesman Capt. Alan Christie says voting will start Dec. 20 and wrap up Jan. 10.

The Air Line Pilots Affiliation might be holding conferences with pilots in Denver, Chicago and Las Vegas beginning subsequent week to debate the deal, which it says consists of enhancements to pay, work guidelines and advantages.
