Amy Jo Johnson, who starred within the first two seasons of “Felicity,” says she wanted to depart the present to “disintegrate” someplace after her mom handed away.
“She bought sick after we have been doing the pilot after which that summer time after we have been filming she handed away,” Johnson, 47, informed Web page Six on the ATX TV Competition on Sunday. “It was simply form of this like rollercoaster journey for me emotionally for 2 years. I feel I simply wanted to go disintegrate someplace.”
Johnson, who returned for the ultimate few episodes, continued, “I went to J.J. [Abrams] and I used to be like, ‘I feel I want a break.’ I used to be spinning out a bit. He was like, ‘Yeah, I’ll write you these episodes and when you promise to come back again on the finish.’ They have been superb, they actually took care of me that approach.”
After she left the present, Johnson fled to Chicago, the place she recorded an album.
Johnson resides together with her 9-year-old daughter in Toronto, the place she’s taken a step again from performing to concentrate on writing and directing.
“It’s my ardour now — all I wish to do is write, direct and be a filmmaker,” she informed us. “I like it and I like doing it in Toronto as effectively.
